Una noticia ha dejado desconcertados a millones de fanáticos de la literatura de J.K. Rowling, ya que una copia desgastada de ‘Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal’ se subastará el próximo jueves en Londres. Los organizadores de la puja esperan conseguir entre 25.000 y 38.000 dólares.
La casa londinense de subastas ‘Forum Auctions‘ describe el ejemplar como una “antigua copia de biblioteca con un sello de tinta. Tiene los extremos y las esquinas de la columna vertebral desgastados, hay astillas en las juntas y el laminado se está pelando”.
El inusual libro pertenece a una tira de 500 copias impresas, otro ejemplar del mismo lote alcanzó un precio de 37.000 dólares. Cabe mencionar que los más entusiasmados son los coleccionistas.

Para comprobar si su ejemplar forma parte de este extraordinario y preciado lote, en la página 53, donde aparece listada una serie de utensilios que Potter debe llevar a Hogwarts, “1 varita” aparece dos veces.
Otra pista se encuentra en la página en blanco donde aparece el nombre de la novela y el de su escritora. En esta hoja debe aparecer el nombre completo de “Joanne Rowling” y no ‘J.K’ como figura en los millones de títulos que ha vendido la escritora a nivel mundial.
